Cause Description:
Patient Programs – our programs are focused on improving the lives of women currently diagnosed with ovarian cancer and were created to provide support, hope, and comfort to those women, because we believe that programs help bolster patient morale, provide needed support, and inspire hope. Research – Team Ovations has been a participant the Jimmy Fund Walk, raising funds to support Dr. Ursula Matulonis’ Research Fund. To date, we have donated over $1M directly to this fund. Our total research dollars are now over $1.8M! Education and Awareness – Learning for Living Symposium is a yearly free event for women and their families/caregivers to provide the latest information provided by medical experts in the field of gynecological oncology and treatment. It concludes with a time for friendship and support - sharing stories over lunch. It is referred to as a “Day of Hope”. Our Awareness brochures are provided to doctors’ offices across the country to prioritize increased awareness
