Casa Esperanza provides a home away from home for cancer patients and their families, as well as patients with other serious medical conditions, who must travel to Albuquerque for treatment.Casa Esperanza is a nonprofit 501c3 that has provided a compassionate residence for over 35,000 patients and their families for the last twenty-three years. Our families come from every county in New Mexico and three surrounding states. The majority of our families are moderate to low income, and many are Hispanic or Native American. All share the experience of leaving their home, community, job, and friends for treatment. At Casa Esperanza they become a large family of support for each other.
