Cause Description:
Leah and Rob Sperlongano welcomed their son Kason Robert into the world on April 13th, 2010. He was 11 weeks early. Kason weighed 1lb and 15oz and was 14 inches long. He stayed in the NICU at Women and Infants for 8 months. He overcame many obstacles during his time there, but finally the Sperlongano’s are finally all together at their home in Warwick, RI. They are facing many more challenges both because of the medical issues that Kason and his parents are dealing with, as well as the substantial financial burdens that have and continue to accumulate in order to care for Kason every day.
