Cause Description:
The Dam is a drop-in for youth at-risk ages 13 to 19 in the Meadowvale community of Mississauga. The drop-in is called "The Dam" because it is our hope that the drop-in is a dam which stops the flow youth from becoming homeless street youth in Toronto's downtown core. It is the goal of the staff and volunteers who run the programs to be a friend to youth and help them to stay at home, in school and in the community
