Cause Description:
The WBA Foundation, a 501(c(3), focuses on women in our community whose needs cannot be solved by law alone, and likewise on women lawyers who can better serve justice by their own greater stature in the legal profession. We make grants to help organizations promote the education and advancement of underprivileged women and girls in our own community, and to address legal issues of key importance to women here, nationally, and in the global context. Using our combined professional training, experience and our strong commitment to women of all ages, races and ethnicities in our community, the Board invites requests for funding and welcomes the passion and vision of those who can improve the plight of needy, aged, youthful, uneducated and/or abused women in our midst. The Board is dedicated to identifying a diversity of needs and finding non-profit organizations that effectively address those needs, while also working to create a new paradigm to benefit the future of all women.
