Juxtaposition Arts is an urban youth-focused community-based cultural center located in North Minneapolis, Minnesota that annually engages 2,500 youth through innovative cross-disciplinary visual art and design education programs. It is a space where young people are mentored by emerging adult artists and professionals, who support the youth in applying their talents toward their own successful futures and to the betterment of our neighborhoods and communities. Since opening our doors in 1995 more than 10,000 Twin Cities’ youth (ages 8-21) have participated in Juxtaposition’s free year-round offerings.
