Cause Description:
There are 16,000 female veterans in New Mexico. Our mission is to be an advocate and support system for women who have served or are currently serving in the military. We meet monthly, participate in veteran related functions, conduct fundraising for members in need and veterans' causes. We partner with other veterans groups as well as Federal, State and local agiencies who provide services to veterans and we are active in helping create and support legislation that would benefit all veterans. Our moto is "Because She Served Too."
