Cause Description:
Virginia Voice is a radio reading service for those whose visual or physical impairment keep them from reading for themselves. Listeners are lent, at no charge, specially-turned radios. Volunteers read more than 100 current publications for broadcast seven days a week. These publications for all ages include the local daily paper, "Time," "National Geographic," "Readers' Digest" and "Cricket". Broadcasts are heard in Central Virginia and a few surrounding areas.
