Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a genetic bone disorder characterized by fragile bones that break easily. The mission of the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation is to improve the quality of life for people affected by OI through research to find treatments and a cure, education, awareness, and mutual support. Each year, the OI Foundation responds to more than 6,000 inquiries, produces new information resources, funds vital research and facilitates the operation of support groups across the country. Your support ensures that we are ready to help the next family whose baby is born with this brittle bone disorder or the next adult who needs answers about hearing loss that is worsening or bones that are breaking more frequently.
