The mission of Friends of La Porte County Shelters, Inc. is to improve animal welfare by supplementing the work of the area shelters. This foundation strives to decrease pet overpopulation, promote adoption, fostering, and rescuing of sheltered animals, educate the public about responsible pet ownership, and help provide alternatives to pet owners who may otherwise surrender their pets to animal shelters.
