Cause Description:
The mission of the 'Pray To Love, Love To Pray' Nun Series is to cross cultural boundaries through beauty and art; to acknowledge the power of prayer - the higher consciousness that change things to the good; and to bring awareness to the 'Daughters of Prayer' the Visitation Order. The Visitation Order devote their lives to praying for the world and exemplify their motto of 'humility and gentleness' towards one's neighbors. They are a gentle presence in a violent world. Many monasteries live closed cloistered. Through art exhibits and film they can share the contemplative practices - embracing the liberty of spirit in a time of internal suffering within the human soul. This project will also help the Sisters have exposure for much needed postulants to the consecrated life.
