Boron Alive proposes to serve as a supporter of activities and projects that improve the quality of life for Boron residents; a promoter of community participation; a sounding board for Boron residents to voice their concerns and wishes for a higher quality of life. Our current areas of interest are young adults (assisting with training and employment and helping those seeking to turn their lives around from addiction or crime), seniors (working with the senior center to expand services available), community appearance (working with Kern County Code Compliance to keep all structures safe and within legal limits), and safety (working with Kern County Sheriff to keep crime rate low). Boron Alive is guided by a Board of Directors (all residents of Boron) and receives input from the community
