Retrievers & Friends of St. Louis is a non-profit, no-kill, all volunteer-based dog rescue serving the needs of homeless retrievers and their canine friends. The dogs we serve have been abandoned, abused and neglected, or face certain death in high kill shelters. Others are family pets whose owners are no longer able to care for them. By working with a staff of dedicated volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue and rehabilitate adoptable canines and provide them with well-matched, carefully-screened forever homes. We are able to do all of these things because of the generous donations of our supporters in the community. Although we know that animal rescue will always be necessary in our community, the volunteers at Retrievers & Friends of St. Louis are working tirelessly towards a day when all canines find their forever home. Until that day arrives, we will continue our mission one day, one dog at a time. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Every cent of every dollar donated goes solely to mend the hearts of homeless canines.
