Cause Description:
Smitten with Kittens, Inc is a no-kill 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group with a focus on rescue and adoption of very young kittens. We are active supporters of community spay neuter efforts and educate the public regarding the benefits of controlling the population. We are a foster-based group of volunteers that rescues kittens that will be euthanized or face certain death. They are the abandoned, the newborns, the deformed, the blind, the sick and the injured that don’t otherwise have a chance for survival. We provide the medical care they need as well as the socialization skills to become loving pets. All our kittens are provided age appropriate vaccines, are tested for communicable diseases and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. The highest euthanasia rate in most area shelters is the kittens under 8 weeks old. We provide a safe, loving, temporary home for these little ones to grow until we find their permanent one.
