The Community Exchange Foundation, a 501(c)(3), redistributes value. We strive to keep resources in circulation by reconnecting perfectly good, currently-unused items that would otherwise be discarded, to new owners who need them. In doing so, we maximize utility, reduce waste, slow the flow to our landfills, and enhance the overall well-being of the community. Through the Kids' Exchange, our seasonal children's consignment sale, we've redistributed over $250,000 worth of new and gently-used kids' items in the Adirondack region since 2010. The Kids' Exchange also raises funds that we distribute to improve the quality of life locally and throughout the Adirondack and Capital District region.
