Cause Description:
At On The Right Trail Horse Rescue, Inc., our mission is to rescue horses in need and to give them a safety net for the remainder of their life. We save horses from slaughter, neglect, and abuse. On occasion we will take owner surrenders and assist with private home placements. We provide each horse that comes into our rescue with the care, training, and space to recover, for however long they need. If it has been determined that a horse cannot recover while in our care, we assist them in 'crossing the rainbow bridge' with dignity and friends by their side. We work closely with our professional team of farriers, veterinarians and equine trainers to ensure each horse has the opportunity to blossom into the horse they were destined to become.
