Cause Description:
The family is the backbone of society. I have a dream of building a community, offline and online, where every member is loved to life through the sharing of our stories. Storytelling, in an atmosphere of unconditional acceptance, heals our bodies, minds, and souls. I envision within the whole, many smaller circles who collaborate on projects that propel us into a love-based reality. It's a place where truth is not defined by leadership and dissected into doctrinal statements, but is excavated from within each individual soul, created in God's image. We abide in Christ and He is our Light. We shine in the dark places, as we rescue the perishing. One person's victory is a victory for all of us. One person's suffering is ours to share. We embrace our humanity in all of its messiness, and we are not afraid to make mistakes. We hold each other's hands. It's a time when we discover mercy and grace in the middle of our mistakes and offenses. It's a sacred space, to become real. We're returning to the Garden of Eden experience of being NAKED & UNASHAMED. We dare to become vulnerable because we are WITNESSES to what we experienced. We are exposing darkness but not to blame, shame, or condemn.
