FOCUS Group Ministries is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 to help build a bridge to the community for a segment of society that is often forgotten. We seek to help inmates and their families to know Jesus as their Savior, to mature in their faith, and to help ex-offenders to transition back into society as good citizens. Our efforts at providing support, hope and encouragement have been recognized by the Tennessee Department of Corrections, twice naming FOCUS Group Ministries the ‘Best Non-Profit of East Tennessee.’ We are guided by the following goals: -To restore families -To lower the rate at which people return to jail or prison -To enable decision making that will benefit each individual, their family and society
