Cause Description:
Operation Help a Hero is a 501 c 3 non profit organization focused formed to support military heroes at home and abroad. We work with units and service members to provide morale-boosting, unit building and crisis supporting programs. Our most popular program is Operation Rack Pack, which is a program we started in 2003 to support young, single service members returning from deployment to barracks. We clean their rooms, make their beds and leave them gifts and treats of gratitude waiting for them in their barracks rooms. Just when they think they've been forgotten, they walk into their rooms to know the public they serve appreciates them. We also have the following programs: OHH Baby Showers, OHH Camp JOY (mom/dad's day off), Operation Bedtime Stories, Operation Christmas Spirit, Healing Words for Wounded Warriors and Operation Enduring Support.
