Each day, the staff at the New LIFE School strives to teach our students that they are worthy and deserving of all the world has to offer. For some of our students, the New LIFE School has become a second home. A safe haven where they can be themselves, whether on a good day, or a bad day. While many come to us from traumatic pasts, broken homes, and failed school placements, we believe in them, and we try each day, to show them just how special they truly are to us. As a school, our goal is to also teach our children, that despite their pasts, they must prevail. Our wish for them is to maintain their childhood innocence and never stop believing in the power of love. Each holiday season, we host a special event called the "Santa Store". At this event, each student is allowed to choose, from a wide array of donated gift like items. The gifts are then wrapped and labeled for the child's loved one. The premise behind the event is to teach the students the value of giving to others, and showing their love and appreciation. At this time, we are seeking donations, however big or small for this very special event. Gift items for individuals of all ages is appreciated. Gift like items include perfumes, ties, hats, scarfs, electronics, music CD, movies on DVD, and toys. All donations should be mailed directly to our school, or can be picked up at your location. We will require the donated gift items by December 15th.
