n response to these needs, Kids Alive has developed the Oasis, a home for abused girls where up to 60 girls find peace, security and spiritual healing as well as preparation for a life free of abuse. We also partnered with a local Guatemalan church, Iglesia Galilea, to bring nutrition, Christian education, and family discipleship to the remote village of Zapote through the Source of Hope. Our ministry is focused on fulfilling the physical, emotional, AND spiritual needs of children through Christ-centered care, education, and ministry—and bringing them up to become faithful followers of Jesus in their community.
