Kinhaven is a unique summer music school located in the rolling green hills of Weston, Vermont. Kinhaven presents an opportunity for musicians of all ages to play classical music with people who love nothing better. Company Overview Founded by visionaries David and Dorthy Dushkin, fostered by music educators Jerry and Nancy Bidlack, and run by Executive Directors Anthony Mazzocchi and Deborah Buck, Kinhaven has stayed true to its mission of giving musicians the opportunity to focus on making music in a supportive and nurturing environment since 1952. Our August Junior Session supports middle-school aged players while the Senior Session, our core summer program, cultivates high-school aged musicians. It has offered workshops for musicians who are college age and older since the early 1990s.
