Public Lands Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to keeping 245 million acres in the National System of Public Lands available for responsible public use and professionally managaed for future generations. Recreational use can be enjoyed by camping, hiking, hunting, fishing and experiencing wilderness opportunities; economic growh supports local, state and national entities through mineral development, range management and timber production; historic and cultural resources are preserved as windows into the past; and environmental enhancement is accomplished through air, soil, and watershed management, and balancing the availability of all resources in a way that protects the highest and best use in any given area.
