Cause Description:
Kindness For Cats Inc is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide a temporary nurturing home for homeless kittens and cats and to find them loving forever homes. We work closely with Orange County Animal Services volunteering in their foster program; most of the kittens and cats in our care are fosters through the OCAS program but we also take in homeless felines outside of OCAS as space permits. The high number of euthanizations, deaths from illness/injury and comparatively low number of adoptions prompted the forming of this nonprofit in the hope to increase visibility for the kittens/cats available for adoption and to educate regarding pet overpopulation and promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines.
