Cause Description:
We are a local rescue dedicated to helping abandoned and surrendered cane corso mastiffs in the Greater Philadelphia area. We recognized the alarming number of this rare breed showing up in the area shelters. This breed is gaining in popularity in non-flattering ways because of their large, tough exterior. Our mission is to bring awareness to the general public about our amazing breed and their very soft and gentle side. We also want to educate potential owners/adopters about the special considerations required with a cane corso. If we are successful, we will see the number of dogs being surrendered reduced and our foster dogs will find fantastic forever homes!
