The Jewish Federation of Broome County, Inc. is committed to improving the quality of Jewish life in our community in the Southern Tier of New York State and to promoting Jewish identity and welfare in Israel and throughout the world. The Jewish Federation of Broome County, Inc is the major volunteer philanthropic and umbrella organization for the Jewish Community of Broome County, collecting and distributing funds that support Israel and worldwide Jewish agencies (through United Jewish Communities) and many local agencies including: Jewish Family Service, Hillel Academy, The Jewish Community Center of Broome County, The Reporter Newspaper Group, Hillel at Binghamton University and others. Through its Endowment Fund the Federation supports Jewish educational endeavors and emergency aid throughout our community. As a volunteer-led organization we welcome members willing to participate in making our community and the world a better place to live for Jews and non-Jews alike.
