Cause Description:
Blank Page, Inc. promotes an awareness that art is a necessary and crucial part of everyday existence and that diverse visual and audio acts of creation are vital to the growth and well being of the community. Blank Page, Inc. does this with the active belief that artists must be supported in order to support the arts. Blank Page, Inc. maintains both a community arts center, Blank Page, and a free small press publication, BLANK, both maintained solely by donations from the public. This maintenance is done by a motivated group of multifaceted volunteers and supporters brought together not only to encourage and support both student and professional artists, but to further facilitate an open and integrating dialogue between the arts community and the community as a whole. Blank Page houses the arts in an environment where all members of the community are expressly welcome. BLANK's content consists of work selected from a pool of submissions from the general public.
