In collaboration with Coonamessett Farm, the Cape Cod Montessori School (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under Third Plane Montessori, Inc.) provides a program of rigorous academics and experiential learning for grades 7-12. The combination of Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy and the unique location of the school foster personal growth, responsibility, and self-confidence. The farm setting and it surrounding environment allows students to go beyond the classroom and learn through experience. They gain a respect for the environment and a true sense of their place in the world. Students have the opportunity to directly apply their academic studies in land-based projects including agriculture, animal husbandry, and boat building.
