Someone Worth Accepting Now (S.W.A.N.) a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. was formed three years ago as a grassroots effort. S.W.A.N. was formed and is ran by survivors of domestic violence. The mission of S.W.A.N is to be an organization supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence, providing victims and survivors with the necessary tools and education to become empowered and to positively change their lives through advocacy, safety, support and creating ways to build more awareness in the community through education about the Domestic Violence epidemic while maximizing the effectiveness of every dollar contributed. S.W.A.N. welcomes women who have experienced any type of abuse and/or violence from an intimate partner or family member, or women who have witnessed and/or experienced abuse as a child.
