Belly Rubs Basset Rescue

Cause Description:
BRBR is a breed rescue that helps reduce euthanisia rates among basset hounds and basset mixes. We provide shelter, food and medical care to basset hounds who end up in Tennessee's animal shelters, some of which euthanize dogs and cats at 4 times the national average. Our volunteers keep the dogs in their homes until we can find permanent, loving homes for these dogs. We also work to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering in controlling the region's tragic overpopulation of companion animals. Last year BRBR saved 81 basset hounds from death.
