Mocha Moms, Inc. is a national support group for mothers of color who have chosen to modify or eliminate employment outside of the home in order to devote more time to their families. The primary mission of Mocha Moms is to support and encourage these women who are making parenting a priority in this season of their lives. We welcome people of all religions, races, educational backgrounds and income levels and while the majority of our members are stay-at-home moms, we do welcome working moms. We lend support to each other through monthly support meetings, playgroups, Mom’s Night Out, book club gatherings and visits to many points of interest in and around Silver Spring.
