National Animal Crossroads is an organization that rescues animals from abandonment, abuse, and neglect. Instead of placing our rescues in cages we place them in safe and loving fostering homes until they are adopted. Fostering homes are proven to keep the animals calmer, healthier and more ready to be adopted by their adopting family There are many quality shelters throughout the United States that NAC works with who care for their animals. But imagine yourself waiting in a cage, on cold cement at night to be adopted or, in a temporary fostering home with people and possibly other animals sleeping on a rug.
