Catalina Island Humane Society is located in the town of Avalon, on beautiful Santa Catalina Island, which is off the coast of Southern California. Our mission is the prevention of crueltly to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of humane education. Although we champion all animals our focus is on the abandoned, stray and feral cat population on the island. We work closely with the community cat colony caregivers offering no-cost spay/neuters and an adoption facility for cats waiting for a home.
