The mission of United Animal Nations is to protect animals in danger or in need and to focus global attention on their plight. UAN's Emergency Animal Rescue Serivce (EARS) program provides trained volunteers and resources to assist animals during disasters: setting up shelters, aiding local authorities, rescuing animals left behind, and much more. UAN's other major programs include a Premarin educational campaign and LifeLine, a program to help seniors and low-income families pay for life-saving veterinary care for their companion animals.
