The Kohn Foundation - BARC The Bahamian Animal Rescue Committee is set up to help the animals of Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas. We are dedicated to help the homelessness, starvation, disease mitigation and public education related to cultural attitudes toward animals. We fund raise in the U.S. and abroad to support these animals. Since the island was struck by Hurricanes Jeanne, Frances and Wilma, the overpopulation is is a crisis.
