International Ballet Exchange (IBE) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to bring high quality, classical ballet education to school students from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds; to promote international understanding, and to make ballet accessible to all segments of society. IBE currently sponsors two ballet residency programs in two inner city high schools, providing free training, free ballet shoes and dance attire, and performance opportunities to participating students. IBE also sponsors a free community performance with the Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine each year.
