Cause Description:
A middle school environmental club, very active in the community, with over 200 members. The purpose of the club is to promote environmental awareness to fellow students and to create an organization uniting students of various backgrounds for a common purpose. This club creates opportunities for team work and enhanced educational experiences. The students are currently creating an outdoor classroom from a retention pond and are including fountains and a waterfall, which will create an aerated environment to introduce fish for breeding experiments in conjunction with the local Fish and Game Commission. The pond will be powered solely through photo voltaic (solar)power. We are currently raising money to purchase the equiment needed for the solar equipment and all contributions received at this time will be applied to that project.
