The Rebirth of Englewood Community Development Corporation (ROE CDC) is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Corporation, whose mission is to provide community and economic development for the Englewood and West Englewood communities, located on Chicago’s south side. The mission is achieved via the Corporation’s five programs of jobs and job training, housing development, business and economic development, social service development/crime reduction, and arts and cultural development. Programming is guided by four basic goals: 1) provide community resident with the tools they need to achieve economic security, 2) provide opportunities to fully participate in the market economy; 3) provide community residents with the tools they need to achieve social security, and 4) lay the foundation for self determination.
