Refuge Farms is a sanctuary for horses and Human Beings alike. We have two equally important missions: First: Abandoned, mistreated horses are rescued and given a safe haven to heal and live out their remaining days with dignity and grace. Second: These recovering horses have much to give and teach us humans about respect, trust, and forgiveness. Through a program called "Horses Helping..." the animals help us recover from stress, abuse, illness or disabilities, loss of loved ones, and even the worries of war. We call this the Magic of "Horses Helping...".
