The Wendy Marx Foundation for Organ Donor Awareness, an all volunteer not-for-profit organization, was established in 1990 with a single purpose: to increase public awareness of the need for organ and tissue donation. In the United States, there is a desperate need for such donations. Each day, ten Americans die waiting for an organ transplant, and thousands of others wait for an available organ. Don't take your organs to heaven. Heaven knows we need them here.
