Cause Description:
The Central Brevard Sharing Center is a last refuge for the poor, homeless or otherwise less than fortunate citizens in our community, who have fallen through the safety net of government program. As a non-denominational agency, supported by volunteers from all segments of the community, we provide comprehensive assistance through a variety of programs directed at immediate relief for individuals and families in crisis, as well as ongoing support, counseling, education, referral and advocacy. We are dedicated to reaching as many individuals and families in need as possible and to be responsible stewards of the funds, entrusted to us by individuals, churches, corporations, business and community organizations. We are a United Way of Brevard Agency, committed to treating our clients, staff and volunteers with dignity
