Ascent Russian Orphan Aid Foundation is a non-profit charitable corporation that spends 100% of donations to provide basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter to Russian orphans and homeless children. We do not receive any compensation for our work and pay for all operating expenses out of our own pocket. Every penny of your contribution goes directly to an orphanage to help complete the project you support. All orphanages and shelters that receive our help are registered non-profit organizations in Russian Federation that have at least 5-year track record. We are a 501(3)(c) non- profit charitable corporation registered in the state of California (EIN 91-2192371). Please visit our web site for more information: www.iorphan.org. Our Mission: 1. Provide basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter to Russian orphans and homeless children. 2. Assist them in gaining necessary skills to become self-supporting functional members of society. 3. Increase public awareness to the needs of all disadvantaged and less fortunate children.
