Cause Description:
The Tour De Kale is a benefit bicycle ride in the foothills/piedmont of NC. The ride was organized in 2000 to benefit Kale Watkins after a skiing accident rendered him paralyzed. Each following year a different local beneficiary is chosen. This ride truly demonstrates how a small community can change the lives of the needy. Over 90% of TOTAL funds raised go directly to beneficiary. All organizing members are strictly volunteers. Please see our website at www.tourdekale.com for further information.
