Northwest Youth Services has been working since 1976 to provide a network of comprehensive, results oriented services designed to ensure safety, and deliver the tools children, youth and their families need to make positive decisions and real change. These tools include youth and family counseling, a 24 hour crisis phone hotline, youth shelter and family mediation for runaway, throwaway and homeless youths, teen court, and treatment foster care services. Each year hundreds of children, youths and families from Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, and San Juan counties are served. For 30 years, NWYS has built effective programs that serve as a safety net and a continuum of care to meet the needs of at-risk kids, families and communities dealing with the challenges of our changing world.
