Cause Description:
We are the FIRST ham radio Community Emergency Response Team to be certified by the state of IOWA. After a storm or other disaster when more emergency communications is needed mal communications are not working we provide radio communicationdown the block, all over town or around the world when needed and we do it for FREE. We are a 501 C 3 and out tax ID number is 42-1468642. We work with ten search and rescue dog teams and two dive rescue teams. We have worked in the states of Iowa, Min, Wis, North and South Dakota. We have sent thousands of emergency radio telegrams for the Red Crosas and Salvation Army. All for FREE. We receive no Federal, State or local money to help us do this work. We were on duty the night of Y 2 K ready to send information to the state capital.
