Cause Description:
Friends of Ingham County Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization created to help the animals at the Ingham County Animal Shelter in Mason, Michigan. FICAS is run by volunteers who dedicate countless hours to raising money to help the animals find loving homes or to be placed into foster care until a permanent home is found. FICAS receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of donations. FICAS spends money to run adoption advertisements in the local newspaper; to pay for spaying/neutering of the animals; to pay for rabies vaccinations for the animals; medication to help sick animals; and to improve the conditions at the shelter. All donations go directly to help the animals in need.
