Cause Description:
Since 1961, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver has been helping kids stay out of trouble, stay in school and succeed in life. The organization operates seven safe neighborhood branches staffed by full-time professionals where kids can spend time after school and during the summer. Not just after-school hangouts, the Clubs are places where young people come to learn, develop leadership skills, do homework, develop social skills, express themselves creatively, and participate in sports. The organization also owns and operates a residential summer camp in the mountains outside of Boulder, Colorado.
