GEMS Girls' Clubs is a relationship building club program for young girls, grades 1 - 9, offered through the local church. The primary goal of GEMS remains the same today as it has for the last 40 years: To bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. The name GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. There are 20,000 girls and 5,000 women counselors across the US and Canada involved in GEMS Girls' Clubs. The GEMS ministry is non-denominational with club participation in many different Protestant and Catholic churches.
