The Caring Institute – Founded in 1985 to honor and promote the values of caring, integrity and public service. Inspired by the example of Mother Theresa, the Institute believes that the solution to most problems is the caring of one human being for another. The Caring Institute celebrates those special individuals who, in transcending self, devote their lives in service to the disadvantaged, the poor, the disabled, and the dying. We honor those individuals through programs that are national in scope: National Caring Awards program, Caring Scholarship Foundation, Art of Caring poster and essay contest (conducted through schools nationwide).
