What is Idaho Mountain Search And Rescue? It's a group of volunteers who give their time and energy to help others who may be in trouble. We have no paid staff, no paid officers; everyone is donating his/her skills and time. What does IMSARU do? We search for lost or missing people (in the wilderness and in town), rescue people injured or stranded in off-the-road locations, do body recoveries, give safety education presentation to groups of all ages, supply first aid and communication services to non-profit community activities such as fun runs. We are proud members of the Mountain Rescue Association and the National Association of Search and Rescue.
